NEWS offers several exhibits of exceptional weaving. All NEWS exhibits are free and open to the public.
Fashion and Gallery Shows

Fashion and Gallery Show Awards will be presented in Weinstein Auditorium on Thursday evening, July 13, from 7:00–9:30pm

Guild Table Exhibits

Each of the member guilds of NEWS as well as other weaving collaboratives will display their members’ creations. The subjects are often the results of projects or study groups from the past two years. Accessibility: Swipe your OneCard (room and/or meal plan card) at the door to enter the elevator lobby, which is located at the end of the ramp at the rear of the Davis Center. For visitors who do not have OneCards, signs will be posted at Davis and in the Registration lounge in the Campus Center with a number to call to request entry. No card is required to exit, and no card is required to access the stairs.
Open Studios
On Friday, July 14, from 4:30 – 5:30PM, classrooms will be open and the teachers will be available to answer questions or just chat. This is an opportunity for you to see what other workshops are all about. It will also provide an excellent opportunity for those of you who are in charge of your guild program(s) to get some ideas for future presentations.
