NEWS 2013: Conference information

NEWS 2013 will be held from July 11 to July 14, 2013 at Smith College, Northampton, MA.  Registration packets will be mailed in late January;  registration for NEWS 2013 opens on February 15, 2013.

From the Program Chairs

We think we have put together a well-rounded program and have an international teaching roster including Laura Fry…Margaret Coe, Susan Wilson and Sarah Saulson.

Class offerings range from beginning weaving to tapestry weaving, card weaving to warp painting, weaving history to weave structures. We also have classes in fiber jewelry, photographing your work and modifying your equipment for more efficient weaving. We have also brought back the guided tours of the Gallery Show and the Fashion Show.

We think we have something for everyone and hope we have piqued your interest. We are looking forward to seeing you in Northampton in July 2013.
