New England Weavers Seminar 2015: A Weekend of Weaving in New England

 Online registration is now open.

Welcome

By now you should have received your brochure for NEWS 2015 and are deciding what workshops you can’t wait to take. I am confident that there is something for everyone. Registration will begin on February 15th, both online and mail-in, and we encourage you to register early and take advantage of the online registration.

The handicap accessible dorm is located very near the Campus Center, exhibits and classrooms. It is, however, a fair distance from the dining hall. We will have a shuttle that will operate from the dorm to the dining hall during the day and are working very closely with Smith to improve this service. If you will be requesting this dorm, you may want to consider having breakfast and lunch in the Campus Center and using the a la carte option for dinner in the dining hall. This option is purchased at the dining hall and they accept cash and credit cards. The Campus Center will be open from 7:30 – 2:30, Wednesday thru Saturday. It will not be open on Sunday, but you can use the a la carte option for breakfast and lunch in the dining hall. Be sure to register for the Thursday night Welcome Dinner when you register. This dinner will not be available unless you register for it.

For the 8th time, we are again offering the Beginning Weaving workshop and encourage you to reach out to new weavers and let them know about this wonderful opportunity. The workshop would not be possible without the generous support of Webs who provide, deliver, set-up and maintain the looms and equipment that the students use. Art and Barbara Elkins have spearheaded this effort for many years and we are so grateful for their continued support.

Be sure to check back frequently, especially Corrections and Updates as we will post the latest information here.

See you in Northampton in July.
